Today's Run

This morning I started out with P90X3 dynamics workout.   Tomorrow starts transition week meaning I have been at it for almost one month!

Then mid day while J stayed with his grandparents I ran home to get a nice short run in.

5 min warm up, 15 run, 5 min walk, 20 min run, 5 min cool down.

Pleased.

I was a bit sore about the 15 minute mark and stopped enough to stretch.  Didn't want to overdo it today as I am going to try to hit the Cinnamon Bun run tomorrow with Kennebec Valley Coaching which means 8 miles is the goal.

Yesterday's Run

Last night I did my P90X3 Warrior workout in late evening.

Then followed it after J went to bed with this.....

a 5 min warm up walk, 30 min run and 5 min cool down.

Was pretty happy with that at 9:30 last night

Failure!

I haven't been doing so well lately and have been such a failure.

I haven't run in a week, I haven't been eating right, I'm just shutting down.

However,  I have stayed on top of the P90X3 workouts because I have been doing those after J goes to bed.

Until, TODAY!  I set the alarm for a whopping 5:15 to get the workout done before he gets up.  This should allow me on a normal day to get my running in either after work but before dinner, or maybe even after dinner.  The other possibility is after J goes to bed I could get my run in.

I have decided I need to make a commitment to better myself and make myself a little happier.

We will see how it goes.  This week I have something going every night so just the workouts in the morning will help that and we will see if I get a run in any afternoon/evening.

Last night!

Last night I was able to get a decent run in.

I did my normal 5 min warm up and 5 min cool down with a 45 minute run.

It sure felt pretty good to run after 3 days of not running.

I did this run before dinner, then after I put J to bed I finished my night with P90X3 AgilityX which is also a cardio workout.

Tonight will be yoga which will feel good.
